Project Description

Ada Street, Oatley | Residential

Even when your outdoor space is tight, hot and overgrown with weeds, it just takes a little bit of imagination to transform it into something incredible. So in this small space every square inch needs to be maximised.

Courtyard landscape design with bbq

Raised planting and built in BBQ to maximise space

The main sun drenched garden beds have mass vegetable planting, complimented by vertical spirals, citrus and a dwarf espalier apple tree. The water urn acts as a focal point and the trickling water cools the space on those hot days. Built in bench seating and BBQ unify the space whilst offering plenty of storage and seating for the complete family. This tight space was transformed into a usable and unique garden to use all year round.
