ABOUT THE PROJECT

This amazing little inner-city rooftop with its picture post card views just needed a little revamp, taking a leaf from the moditerranean style the team has really upgraded this rooftop. We had the structure to start with, but exposure to the wind and privacy issues from the neighbouring apartment just made it uncomfortable to take time out and simply relax. So, with a combination of light weight planters, a change in colour and a built-in feature lounge that doesn’t just draw your attention, but acts as a snug wind break for groups or just taking time out on those harsh windy days.

The addition of flexible umbrellas and built in fridge/BBQ just makes life that little bit easier on those warm summer afternoons and early evenings. It’s all zero maintenance with drip irrigation, mediterranean planting combinations and low lighting to lead the way.

All in all, this little roof top terrace is a great example of small, considered changes, creating positive wellness and social engagement within our inner city apartments
