Project Description

Garden for the Cook – In Progress

Starling Street, Lilyfield | Residential

ABOUT THE PROJECT

What do you do when you have a stunning character home with its charming façade, but your neighbour builds 2 x 2 story homes that look directly into your rear living area. This is exactly the problems we solve everyday for our clients, but this isn’t just problem solving, its providing an opportunity to re imagine the space for an even better living experience.

This amazing garden is for the cook, the gardener and for friends and family to spend time, relax and simply enjoy. With a redefined layout allowing for deeper garden beds, space for additional suitably sized screen trees and native shrubs, the seasonal boundary will provide both noise and visual privacy from the neighbours development. The storage shed will be screened and allow for a well organised outdoor kitchen and prep zone for a range of cooking appliances.

Hexagon planters of varied heights will support production planting as well as creating architectural interest with the space and lounge seating will allow you to be within the garden and take time out with friends. Irrigation and garden lights won’t just make life easier, but also ensure this garden is sustainable, as well as providing evening pleasure that reinforces the inside/outside connection and flow
