Project Description
A Potters Dream – In Construction
Hawthorne Pde, Haberfield | Residential
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Since COVID many of our clients work from home and in some cases, garages are the new studio or creative space, and so this project is a great example of how you can re imagine an existing structure. So, as our client is passionate about wheel throwing, the idea of adapting the existing garage into a more usable area and then creating a shed/studio connection made total sense to us.
So, after a stressful week of overseas work travel, constant zoom meetings and looking after the family, you have a chance to grab a glass of wine, sit outside and just unwind. This creative space has plenty of room to let the imagination run wild, a kiln to fire up and a potter’s wheel to unleash the creative side, making plates, bowls and items for friends and family.
French cedar doors connect the inside out with matching sliders to allow for family gatherings under cover. All in all, this garden studio is a great place to take time out, feed the creative soul and drink in the landscape of layered shrubs, feature deciduous tree and soft flowing water feature.
Life a bit short to just focus on work, focus on yourself as well
