With unique views across Leichhardt’s skyline and beyond, this long, and expansive terrace can’t help but draw you outside. Even though the balcony has existing extensive concrete planters, they look overwhelming, so by fabricating additional lightweight planters in complimenting colours, this brings a softer layered visual.

The creation of additional planters at varied heights don’t just create outdoor zones, but points of privacy and vistas of green that can be viewed from inside. The platers allow us to install irrigation as well as lighting that will transform the sense and feeling of the space. A blend of architectural shrubs, ground covers and succulents make up a simple and unified planting palette that can handle those hot exposed winds as well as neglect.

Bespoke seating has been created to match the finish of the planters, with a soft timber finish and hardy powder coat finish will stand the test of time against the harsh elements, as well as providing valuable storage space within. All in all this great balcony enables our client to engage and garden as part of her passion, but when the travel bug grabs her, she can just lock up and go.
