The act of tending a garden has been shown to have numerous mental and physical health benefits, being an opportunity for exercise and to take time away from our busy lives and focus on our surroundings, as well as a chance to be creative. However, we find many people hesitate to engage in their garden due to a lack of knowledge – if they are not sure what to do, or how to do it, most people will default to doing nothing.
At OUTHOUSE design, our mission is to change this status quo. We want to empower our clients to engage in their garden – to see gardening as an enriching activity and opportunity to learn, which deserves a place in our busy lives.
As part of this mission, OUTHOUSE design is offering personalised gardening and horticulture training: we can train you in planting, pruning, general gardening tasks or specific skills. We have provided training to residential clients and commercial teams such as the RSPCA, to support them in managing their landscape assets and ensuring the design vision is followed through.
Training can be a one-on-one or group activity for private residential clients, and we also offer training sessions for commercial maintenance teams. A gardening training session also makes a great gift for a loved one with a passion for plants, or an ideal team-building exercise for companies with underperforming outdoor spaces.
We will tailor our service to your specific needs, as well as your specific location, garden and plants – all you need to do is get in touch and let us know what you need help with.
