CAMPERDOWN COMMUNITY EDIBLE GARDEN & PLAYGROUND
Camperdown | Community Space
ABOUT THE PROJECT
Australian Institute of Landscape Designers & Managers 2017 – Coveted Allan Correy Award for Design Excellence 2017 – National Gold Award & Best in Category Commercial Landscape Design, Open Space 2017 – National Award – Playspace
The Camperdown Commons is a fantastic community initiative between Canterbury Hurlstone Park RSL Club and Pocket City Farms. OUTHOUSE Design was approached to create an interactive and educational space for all visitors to enjoy.
This space is not meant to be your typical plastic playground, its full of recycled timbers, places to explore and let your imagination run riot and maybe even learn a few things about growing plants.
We are thrilled with the result and the way the space nestles within the working urban farm grounds.
“My imagination peaked with a peek behind the doors cut into these habitat logs.”
“This is beautiful, as a mum for little people, this looks like the perfect natural play space.”
