Step 1 Landscape Site Consultation
This is a critical stage in achieving successful design, as it’s an opportunity to meet you and familiarise ourselves with your existing landscape.
We can discuss your vision and ideas and get an understanding of how you wish to use your outdoor space. Following the consultation, a design brief with fee proposal will be developed to outline your project, accompanied by a "terms of engagement" for you to review and sign before you proceed to the next step, developing a design.
The consultation will take between 60 to 90 minutes and we will look at broad design options, your budget and time scales for the project.
Step 2 Landscape Design Concept Plan
On receipt of our signed terms of engagement we will return to the project site to undertake a full site analysis, take digital images and document all relevant landscape design information. At this stage we ask that you have ready for us a copy of any relevant plan or survey of your property, so we can provide a more accurate and efficient service.
Based on the design brief, we will prepare a plan detailing the proposed landscape design, structural elements, planting style and material suggestions.
Step 3 Landscape Construction Documentation
After consultation and confirmation that you are happy with the Concept design you can engage us to prepare Construction Documentation or detailed drawings. This stage may include the preparation of the following:
• Site set out plan
• Structural layout plan
• Planting plan
• Detailed drawings and specifications for construction
The set of drawings to be undertaken will depend on the individual site and the scope of the design.
Step 4 Contract Administration
Whilst we are not a landscape construction company we are able to act on your behalf as an independent advisor, sourcing quotations, supervising site works and ensuring that the proposed landscape is constructed in line with the intended design.
