Short Street, Birchgrove
Whilst this amazing home would be the envy of most people, the garden certainly wasnt. Being only 3.5 mtrs wide by 6mtrs long and enclosed with 3mtr high walls, this garden felt like a small concrete box. The solution is to keep the materials simple, build in the seating and create a visual feature on the back wall. A vertical garden creates an opportunity to grow your own produce, whilst planting on the wire and dwarf magnolias break up the sense of height created by the existing walls. Using timbers, sandstone and organic colours, create a garden that is a true delight to us and our clients.
