What do you do when you are lucky enough to have a double garage in Balmain, but no garden...remove the garage! A concrete jungle was transformed into this cost effective, low maintenance family friendly garden. We decided to cut out a large part of the concrete slab to make way for a lovely lawned area. The planting was simple, with a feature Blueberry Ash, mass Liriope & beautifully scented Jasmin on wire. The double day bed folds out to allow for storage for toys and/or sand play. The upper concrete area was retained to save landfill, & a new deck was overlayed to allow for entertaining. This area is complimented by built in seating & an attractive BBQ space.
