Griffin Place, Glebe
This modern courtyard garden, offered us some unique opportunity due to restrictions from the body corporate. We couldn't change the paving layout, wall colours or the general layout of the garden. The client wanted a welcoming entry to the home; a place to entertain as well as a private area to sit & take time out. The garden needed shade, so a gorgeous Crepe Myrtle was selected, providing winter sun & summer shade as well as privacy for the bench seat which was constructed & positioned in the corner. The mass planting of Hebe, Ajuga & native Violets sprawl around the gravel step stones. The bench seating allows for entertaining & a built in BBQ designed as part of the unit.
