The brief was simple, provide a BBQ, in-built seating, concealed storage, dining table & chairs for up to 8 friends, all in a 6m x 4m area. The BBQ was in a good location & working order, so removing the old tiled surface & installing a modern granite top & splash back was the way to go. The built in timber storage cupboards, compliment the seating area & tie the space together. The walls & fence were painted to unify the garden & the planting of scented jasmine on wire, creates visual interest & a gorgeous evening scent into the living areas. A garden makeover's cost can be kept to a minimum by modernising elements rather than replacing them.
